Trending: Mirror Balls

It's time for another Tuesday edition of Trending!  Today's trend is all about disco mirror balls!  When Nester first got hers, she mentioned she was de-seriousfy-ing her home!  They definitely do add some fun to any space!  Let's take a look at some lovely photos, shall we?  (As always, please click the link to pin from the original source.)

While I don't have a large mirror ball of my own, I was pretty obsessed with them over Christmas!  I really wanted some larger Christmas mirror ball ornaments from Hobby Lobby, but by the time I got to them the only ones left were damaged.  Anyway, I settled for regular sized balls & placed them around the house for some Christmas whimsy!

Now I'm thinking I might have to buy one of these larger disco balls!  You can get a 12 inch mirror ball for $19 here or an 8" one for about $16 here.  Of course, if that's still more than you want to spend, you could always DIY one with a Styrofoam ball & old Cd's.

The thing I love most about using these for styling is that they provide both a touch of fun & a touch of glam!

Trending: Brass Animals

It's no secret I love the look of gold, so of course, these brass animals had me smitten the moment I locked eyes with them!

This adorable gold pig is in Nicole's son's nursery, but could easily move around the house, since the color is more sophisticated.

Trending: Busts

Lately, I have been seeing a lot of sculptural busts on some of my favorite blogs.  I'm not sure if they are really a trend, or if I'm just noticing them for the first time.  I'm pretty sure they've been making appearances in shelter magazines for years.  Anyway, here are a few I've spied around the internet lately... After looking at the three images I pinned, I realized these female busts really like wearing jewelry!  I'm pretty sure if I ever get one, she'll manipulate me into buying her some fancy jewelry too!  Anyway, doesn't Nicole's look fabulous with a simple string of pearls?

The smaller bust is $19.99 & 11" tall.  The larger lady (no offense) is $39.99 and 17" tall.

All I know, is that one of these girls really needs to move in with me!  I'm so glad to have found them.  Otherwise, this guy might have been coming for a visit!
